River Walk

Mississippi RiverwalkTake a stroll along the Riverwalk for unparalleled views of the Mississippi River and enjoy picturesque HarborTown development, an active marina tucked neatly into the Wolf River Harbor, the Tennessee Welcome Center, the Historic Cobblestone Landing, and famed Tom Lee Park as you wind your way to the quaintness of Martyrs Park where a sculpture dedicated to those who cared for citizens suffering from the Yellow Fever epidemic stands to greet visitors and tell it’s poignant story.

Then come back through Ashburn Coppock Park and take the beautiful pedestrian bridge across Riverside Drive and pick up the Bluffwalk. Here you can stroll through the South Bluffs neighborhood before one incredible turn lays before you vistas of the magnificent Mississippi River and connects through additional bluff top parks where you can take one of three sets of stairs down the bluff or remain up top to cross an updated wooden pedestrian bridge across Beale Street before slowly returning to grade at Union Avenue where the Riverwalk resumes.

Whether you’re strolling, briskly walking, jogging or sitting, we hope you enjoy your visit to the Memphis riverfront and return often.
